Tujuh belas tahun yang lalu, seorang pembunuh yang menyergap triad bos Yau. Istri Yau, Nam, mengirim Chai, Kam, dan lainnya untuk menemukan pembunuh. Chai menangkap pembunuh dan menemukan bahwa dia adalah sahabat karib masa kecil Chai, Chai dan Kam. Untuk menyelamatkan temannya, Chai membantu Meow melarikan diri dari Hong Kong. Chai catches the assassin and discovers that he is Meow, Chai and Kam’s childhood best friend. To save his friend, Chai helps Meow flee Hong Kong. Though Yau survives the attack, the injuries leave him crippled for the rest of his life.
