Empat saudara kandung, Saleh, Fajar, Tyas dan Azizah, telah mendengar cerita tentang surga dan neraka sejak kecil. Mereka dididik secara ketat oleh ayah mereka, seorang Ustad muda yang sangat dihormati di desa. Suatu malam, dalam perjalanan ke desa yang berlawanan tanpa orang tua mereka tahu, Saleh dan adik -adiknya tersapu oleh arus sungai yang kuat dan menghilang. Saleh kemudian bangun di ranah lain, neraka yang selalu dibicarakan ayahnya. Pencarian dilakukan di dunia untuk menemukan anak -anak ayah, baik hidup maupun mati. Satu demi satu rahasia terungkap, membuat ayah dan ibu mempertanyakan apakah mereka menyediakan cukup untuk anak -anak mereka. Di neraka, Saleh dan yang lainnya juga saling mencari, sambil menghadapi meningkatnya siksaan untuk dosa -dosa yang telah mereka sembunyikan.
